Requirements to use High Speed Internet:

To use this service you will need a high speed DSL modem.  We can sell you a DSL modem for a one-time charge of $69.95 or you may wish to rent one for $5.00/month rental fee.

If you already own your own modem, you also have the choice of providing your own modem.  The modem we sell is non-proprietary, and it will work on any DSL service providers network in Canada.  DSL Modems connect to your computer with the use of a network card.

Discounted network cards are available to new subscribers of the high speed internet service for only $14.95. 

Please note that all telephone devices attatched to your phone line (telephones, fax machines or alarm systems) will need a filter attached to them to provide reliable internet service. One filter is included with your modem purchase or rental. Additional filters can be purchased at $4.99

This service will require that your Windows computer is XP, 2000 Service Pack 4, ME, or 98 2^nd Edition.  For hardware, your computer must be a Pentium II – 300 Mhz or above.  Mac users will require a G3 266 Mhz or above.  The computer should have 64 Mb RAM; 128 Mb if you have Windows XP.  You will need a network adapter.  There must be at least 350 Mb free on your hard drive.  The high speed modem must be plugged in to a nearby phone jack.
